Official opening for our

Revamped Day Opportunities room!

Monday 25th April 2022 saw the official opening of our revamped Day Opportunities room. For the past few weeks a complete overhaul of has been taking place within our Head Office, with the addition of a new sensory room now available as part of our sessions!

We were successful in our application for Lottery Funding, which has gone towards revamping our Day Opportunities area. We would like to thank Richard and Maria Justice for their donation which contributed to our new sensory room – The Paul Justice Sensory room. Paul attended our Day Opportunities and became friends with session members and staff alike.

A big Thank You to everyone!

The ribbon was officially cut by Richard and Maria justice and those in attendance were stunned with the improvements made. Also in attendance was Kerri Derrington, funding officer for the National Lottery, who presented the Cheque to Jeff Hunt, Martin Bliss and Maria Timson.

We would like to thank everyone involved in this process – from The National Lottery Fund, The Justice Family, JJB services and property maintenance who have undertaken the work and all of the staff team from People in Action!

Our Day Opportunities sessions are available 5 days a week at our head office in Bedworth. For more information or to book your place please call us on 02476643776.

Our Day Opportunities sessions are extremely popular. Our staff team have been looking at ways to increase the size of the sessions, even offering activities over Zoom. We applied for funding from the National Lottery, and I was overjoyed to see our application approved. I recall rushing down and congratulating Martin, who was blissfully unaware of the approval. Once it sank in there were celebrations all round! The improvements made to the room will only enhance the activities on offer for those in attendance, and provide unique sessions delivered by our trained staff. Well done to everyone involved in the process here at People in Action!
