Our Annual General Meeting took place on the 23rd May 2023 at the Mayor’s Cafe. This was the first AGM in person since 2019, since Covid-19 and the restrictions in place following this.
The Chairman, board of Trustees and PIA staff were joined in attendance by the Mayor, Martin Walsh. Chairman, Jeff Hunt welcomed everyone in attendance whilst the Executive Directors of the organisation reviewed strategies and highlighted impacts during the 2021/22 financial year.
The AGM also gave opportunity for two new trustees to be elected to our board, Michael Cox and Yvonne Hunter.
Jeff Hunt had the following to say:
“It was great to have an AGM is person again. A lot of hard work has gone in behind the scenes of the organisation to steer us in the right direction, through the challenges of and post Covid-19. Steering through this challenging time was only possible with the commitment and dedication of all of our staff members”.
