Friday 21st October, People in Action welcomed staff from the Coventry Building Society, Bulkington branch to our Head Office. People in Action are the selected Charity by the branch for their yearly fundraising efforts. Over the course of the year, the team have taken part in various activities in their own time with the sole aim of fundraising for PIA.
Kerri (pictured centre) took part in our Day Opportunities sessions, assisting customers on their handy creations along with Martin Bliss. At the end of the session, she presented a cheque to Raj Odedra, Executive Director, for the sum of £2000 from their latest fundraising efforts.
Raj had the following to say:
“It has been great for People in Action to be chosen by CBS Bulkington as their Charity Partner for the year. The staff team at the Branch have gone above and beyond in their fundraising efforts for us, which is heart-warming to see. We are looking to ramp up our presence and fundraising efforts after a few quiet years pre pandemic, and the amounts raised here and beforehand by CBS Bulkington will go a long way to support the projects in the pipeline for our services.”
