People In Action are currently recruiting for a part time Cafe Assistant, to work at our vegetarian community cafe ‘The Mayor’s Cafe’, based in Bedworth’s Miners Welfare Park. The Mayor’s Cafe has a real community feel, with some of the fresh produce used in preparing the meals, coming from our Community Garden Project next door. The Cafe is well established, with a good mixture of both regular customers, and people keen to try something different!

You will be assisting with:

• Preparing meals, snacks, drinks and cakes.
• Washing of tables, dishes, cutlery, work surfaces.
• Serving our Customers, handling cash, giving correct change, whilst having excellent customer service skills.
• Helping to receive deliveries, stock checking.
• Closing of the Cafe at the end of the day along with any further cleaning duties.

The hours will be vary over the course of the week: Monday – Sunday, experience is essential!
