Today, Arbury Rotary Club visited Bedworth Community Gardens After hearing about People in Action, they wanted to learn more about us and the work we do.
A visit was arranged to Bedworth Community Gardens and The Mayor’s Cafe. The group was shown around and an insight into the work we do at the garden project was shared. The group were taken aback and were keen to learn more, speaking with both staff and customers. The visit was followed by purchases at the site and lunch at the cafe, where more was explained more about the cafe and the ethos behind its day-to-day operations.
Richard, a member of the group, then presented PIA with a cheque for £200 as a donation to the organisation, from the members.
