We offer a wide range of Day Opportunities activities in our Head Office and on Teams that are organised by our professional activity leaders who are passionate about their role and are keen to provide creative opportunities for our customers.

We offer fun sessions such as Arts & Crafts, Pottery or Cake Decorating. Through these activities we try to unearth our customers’ enthusiasm, gifts and skills as they contribute to a sense of self-worth and are necessary to successfully engage with others and develop social relationships.

You won’t want to miss our Sensory Room! It’s a cosy and calming space filled with sensory delights that will soothe your mind and body. Whether you need a break from the stress or just want to enjoy some quality time with yourself or a loved one, our Sensory Room is the ideal destination.

You can book your visit to our Sensory Room any day of the week except Wednesday, and choose between morning or afternoon sessions.

Everyone attending Day Opportunities can express themselves through various sessions, such as Arts & Crafts, Cake Decorating or Pottery. We make amazing things from delicious cakes to beautiful flower arrangements. Our sessions are full of colour and creativity!

Our Day Opportunities are not only beneficial for people with learning disabilities, but also for their families, carers and society as a whole. They can reduce isolation, stress and stigma, and promote inclusion, diversity and respect.

At People in Action we work together to create a safe environment for everyone to let their creativity and personality shine through various creations!
